Fourth River Management Office continues to enhance flood control and response measures in responded to Typhoon Hinnamnor
According to the CWB typhoon forecast on August 31st, Typhoon Hinnamnor will move slowly at the northeast of Taiwan's main island tomorrow. the main rainfall areas are estimated to be the middle and upper reaches of the Zhuoshui River Basin, the Nantou mountainous area and the coastal areas. The total rainfall in the mountainous areas is about 200-350 mm.
The Fourth River Management Office has worked jointly with Changhua County Government and the Dacheng Township Office to check whether the coastal water gate, Xiahaichang Pumping Station and mobile water pump are functioning normally.
Staff from open-ended emergency contracts, water gates, and water pump operations are on standby to support the need for disaster prevention.
We would like to remind the public to dredge the ditch in front of citizens’ house and to remove the obstruction of the ditch cover during flood season. 因應軒嵐諾颱風形成 四河局加強防汛整備
依今(31)日CWB颱風預報路徑可知，軒嵐諾颱風明日將於台灣本島東北方海面滯留。第四河川局轄區因颱風外圍環流影響可能有較大陣風且於9月2日(五)至3日(六)可能出現較強降雨，預估主要降雨區域為濁水溪流域中上游、南投山區及沿海地區，山區總雨量約為200~350mm。
水利署賴署長因應本次颱風可能襲台於8月31日下午17時召開全署防汛整備視訊會議，指示所屬機關務必做好相關防汛工作並完成各項佈署；第四河川局亦於昨(30)日即由張朝恭副局長率陳進興課長及相關同仁，會同彰化縣政府及大城鄉公所人員督導抽查彰化沿海水門、下海墘抽水站及移動式抽水機功能是否正常，亦請本局開口合約、水門、抽水機操作等廠商完成待命，以隨時因應防救災與支援需求，另本局將加強每日三查水情密切監控颱風最新動態及轄區內水情變化；且於內外水防汛熱點已安排當地防汛志工或村里長協助監控及災中巡防通報，及聯繫彰化縣政府再次檢視轄管全部移動抽水機組狀況及抽水站運轉測試，共同合作做好防汛整備，以降低淹水災害。嗣因颱風外圍環流影響可能有較大陣風，四河局亦已加強濁水溪揚塵監控與啟動緊急應變措施。
